Periodic Table Photo Card Deck

A great tool to teach periodicity! Each large element card contains a beautiful, high quality photograph on one side, with its name, symbol, atomic weight, and atomic number. The reverse side cleverly shows a density bar on the left, phase change bars on the right, and electronic structure lines on the bottom. By stacking a handful of elements, and sliding the deck slightly, students can see how density, melting point, boiling points, and electronic configuration trend by the automatically created bar graph. One can even lay out the cards in a 2.3 m (7.5 ft) wide periodic table. The activities are endless! 118 square element cards 12.7 cm (5.0 in.), 900 g (2 lbs).
